We are seeking a Senior Mechatronics Engineer to join our innovative robotics team within R&D Division.

What will be your main tasks?

 Electronics and Pneumatic Design & EMC Compliance

  • Design, prototype, and test custom PCBs required for the operation of robotic manipulators and automated systems.
  • Perform hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation of new mechatronic modules and manipulators.
  • Ensure compliance with EMC/EMI standards from the initial schematic design through to final hardware implementation.
  • Analyze, specify, and evaluate electronic and electromechanical components for optimal performance and system reliability.
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers for implementation of electronics inside manipulators or control units.
  • Lead the programming of industrial robot paths and support the design of manipulator pneumatics when required.

Documentation, Database and Ordering Components

  • Define system architecture in collaboration with the team to ensure technical compliance of all integrated elements.
  • Design, develop, and document detailed electrical and pneumatic schematics for robotic applications.
  • Approve electrical schematics and CAD models prepared by the team.
  • Provide guidance for preparing project and technical documentation in accordance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal guidelines.
  • Add new components for PCB or schematics/wiring design to our database, ensuring compliance with all design rules.
  • Engage in sales-related activities.
  • Contribute to high-level technical reports and reviews, including analysis based on research findings, and propose improvements.
  • Collaborate with manufacturers, suppliers, and procurement to order and ensure availability of all required components.

Commissioning, Project Leading and Support

  • Participate in the commissioning and start‑up of robotic systems.
  • Participate in field testing activities, particularly for systems involving internally developed components.
  • Review and reassess proposed labor hours, timelines, and budget.
  • Lead multiple projects, including complex ones, ensuring alignment with technical requirements, timelines, and budget constraints.
  • Support junior engineers through mentorship and technical guidance.

Who are we looking for?

We would be glad to meet a candidate with the following experience and skills:

  • Minimum Master’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering (preferably in mechatronics and robotics).                                                              
  • A minimum of 7 years of work experience in the development of complex robotic systems or product development.
  • Advanced understanding, analysis, optimization and creation of incoming technical project requirements.
  • Advanced understanding, creation and approval of technical documentation.
  • Advanced understanding of the mechatronic aspect of product development and system optimization, including a strong awareness of and responsibility for the selection and ordering of required components for systems, prototyping, testing, and production.
  • Advanced knowledge of electronic and pneumatic components required for the development of robotic devices.
  • Advanced knowledge of software for drawing electronic schematics and printed circuit boards (e.g. Altium, KiCAD, Eagle).
  • Advanced knowledge of software for drawing electrical systems (e.g. AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN), the MS Office suite (MS Project) and project management.
  • Understanding of industry standards and regulations.
  • Advanced proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Proactive and solutions‑oriented approach, detail-focused, team-oriented and positive attitude.
